An Appeal

 

Nele - A project under Hindu Seva Pratisthana (http://nelehsp.org/about/) for destitute children is participating in the 'Under the Stars' event on Oct 1st between 7pm and 6am at Ascendas Cricket Grounds, ITPB, Bengaluru. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness and raise funds for selected NGOs, in this case Nele, working toward the protection and service of the vulnerable and disadvantaged. Participants will make a minimum donation/sponsorship (Rs.1500) towards their chosen NGO (Nele) in order to take part. This will give Nele a wider audience and will benefit the project in the long run. Hence I request you to donate and participate in the event thereby being a harbinger of change in the lives of Nele kids. In case you cannot participate in the event but wish to contribute, you can let me or Vijay (in cc), know about your contribution and we will make arrangements to collect the same from you. 'Vyaktitva Vikasana Shibira' - A summer camp for Nele Vasudha kids inaugurated

We are happy to inform that another project of Nele has started successfully.

The 'Vyaktitva Vikasana Shibira' - A summer camp for Nele Vasudha kids was inaugurated today at Nele Vasudha premises. Nele is engaging teachers to upgrade children of Nele in academic subjects as also Yoga, Meditation, Music, Craft, Personality Development and a variety of story telling sessions.

AN APPEAL

WE AT "NELE VASUDHA" ARE BRINGING UP 28 GIRLS STUDYING IN SECONDARY AND HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOLS.  We are planning to conduct SUMMER CAMP during the coming summer holidays in the month of APRIL AND MAY. For the benefit of children, we are planning to engage teachers to upgrade our children in academic subjects as also YOGA, MEDITATION, MUSIC, CRAFT, PERSONALITY DEVELOPMRNT, AND WE ALSO PRAPOSE TO HAVE A VARIETY OF STORY TELLING SESSIONS. All these activities which we propose to conduct in our centre are going to cost considerable expenditure.

Deepavali at Nele Vasudha

Few of us got together and celebrated this Deepavali with the kids of Nele Vasudha. Sweets were shared and crackers were lighted. But it was the smiles on their faces that was priceless.

Many pooled in with crackers and some with money for the same. Crackers were brought for the occasion which made this version of Deepavali special for all of us who participated as also the kids. Some photos of the event are below:

Interaction with Nele Vasudha kids

Gana Homa and Sneha Milan were celebrated at Nele Vasudha on 29th July, 2012. The day was also an opportunity to meet and interact with the kids and care takers of Nele Vasudha. It was a pleasure to see the happiness on the faces of these kids who showed, through their performances in the cultural programs, as to what proper education and shelter could give to anyone whatever be their background.

In the video below Shri.Hirannaiah, care taker of Nele Vasudha, briefs us about Nele Vasudha and its activities. We also interacted with the kids in a lively exchange of pleasantries.

Ganapathi Homa and Sneha Milan at Nele Vasudha #HelpNeleGirls

Ganapathi Homa and Sneha Milan were celebrated at Nele Vasudha on July 29th, Sunday. The auspicious occasion was also a chance for the donors and their families to meet the girls at Nele Vasudha and witness their cultural performances. Below are some of the photos of the events.
